Do you have a favourite charity? If so you need to tell them about this.

We’ve teamed up with a great refiner based in the USA that has agreed to provide us with a reasonable price for the glucometers we collect for recycling.  That means we’re now able to offer an incentive for recycling old blood glucose meters.

For each pound (454 grams) of glucometers & insulin pumps you collect and send to us, we will donate $2 to the Diabetes charity of your choice in your name so you get the tax receipt (if applicable).

We’re still acting on our own so we can’t afford to pay for mailing yet but if you take up a collection and send us your old devices we will send a donation on your behalf to your chosen registered charity.

Please note – we can only offer this incentive for the glucometers or insulin pumps themselves.  Lancets, lancing devices, batteries, cases, manuals and other items carry no value so you are best to recycle or dispose of those yourself.  If enclosed with your shipment we will discard these items and deduct their weight from the total weight of the shipment.
